Susan Whitaker Susan is the owner of Canyon Spirit Yoga. Her journey has taken her from Louisiana to Micronesia to California, riding on the magic carpet of yoga. Susan has certifications from Kripalu and Integrative Yoga Therapy and she has studied with many teachers of many traditions. Her major influences are T.K.S. Desikachar and Donna Farhi, who emphasize the importance of recognizing the individual within the yogic process. Susan believes that yoga is about health and healing, personal transformation, and recognizing the joy of being alive. She feels privileged to provide a sacred space for yogis to gather. |

Rene Rainbolt Rene is a certified instructor, with training in Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vipassana meditation, Sivananda, Anusara and Ayurvedic philosophies with master teachers. Rene is warm, welcoming, and uses humor to create a safe, loving, and inspirational space to be and grow. Her classses are introspective and always well balanced with peaceful silence, powerful energy, and thoughtful messages for personal transformation. She invites you to work deep with your body, breath, and intention to find that place where you want to smile and laugh. |

Cathy Mikles, RYT Cathy has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and is a certified Relax and Renew Trainer for Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater and a certified "Light of Life" Longevity exercise trainer. She has a deep admiration for yoga's profound ability to transform and empower. Cathy blends her experience, knowledge and passion for yoga into creative classes that are fun and light-hearted. Her style of fusing different types of yoga results in new and rewarding yoga experiences. |

Kelly Carpenter Kelly received her teacher training at Canyon Spirit in 2003. Since then, she has continued to hone her skills as a teacher through study with Paul Grilley and others. Kelly believes that a physical practice grows to a spiritual practice, which in turn allows you to find your voice and live from your heart. She knows that through time, practice and dedication, yoga can truly change your life. |

| Genevieve Greinitz Genevieve has been studying and practicing yoga for over 6 years. She has studied Hatha Yoga in northern India under several teachers, and has a deep respect for the ancient arts. Genevieve took her teacher-training course at Mount Madonna Center under the guidance of Baba Hari Dass. She is trained in traditional Ashtanga Yoga, and focuses equally on each of its eight limbs. Her classes, no matter how challenging, have a gentle, meditative feel. Her teaching mantra is Baba Hari Dass's saying, "Teach to Learn". |

| Kim Woodward Kim is an old guy who has been practicing yoga for the past 25 years. He was trained and certified as a yoga teacher in 2002 at the White Lotus Yoga Foundation, and has been teaching yoga for the past 9 years. His particular passion is yoga over 50. He teaches a gentle flowing vinyasa style of yoga, both on the traditional mat and using a chair as a prop and support. |
